ODESSA Ronnie Gene Absher, age 69, of Odessa, died at his home Monday, March 23, 2015.

Ronnie was born September 28, 1945 in Sweetwater, Texas to Helen Jean and Dallas Vincent Absher. Ronnie served in the United States Air Force serving a tour in Vietnam.

He owned and operated Barrow's Flower Shop for 40 years and continued to work as an interior designer. Ronnie was a creative, detailed, big hearted man that enjoyed life. He was an active member of Temple Baptist Church when it was on Texas Street.

Ronnie is survived by Trish and Gail Taylor with children Chloe and Junah from Austin Texas, Resa and Jay Russell with children Parker, Chandler, Evelyn from Austin Texas, Vincent and Melissa Absher with Keaton, Kollin, Korbin, Kutter of Odessa Texas and several family friends.

In celebration of a life full of love abundance and so much giving, please help us honor Ronnie Gene Absher, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and a once in a lifetime friend. Celebration of Sharing will take place at Odessa Country Club beginning at 4:00 PM Saturday. Following there will be a Celebration of His Life at 5:00 PM-7:00 PM where Hors d' oeuvre and drinks will be served.
