MICHAELIS CHANGES NAME

Boston, July 30. – When the Kaiser made Dr. Georg Michaelis chancellor of Germany, George V. S. Michaelis, a business man of Boston, whose father was a German by birth, decided it was time he changed his name. Today the erstwhile George Michaelis is George Woodbridge.

Glen Cove, L. I., Jul 31. – George V. S. Michaelis, whose father and grandfather were officers in the United States army, has changed his name to George Woodbridge, because he does not wish to bear the same name as Dr. George Michaelis, the German chancellor.
