Her obituary as it appeared in our local paper:
Dawn Michelle Wiley, age 21, beautiful daughter and best friend, devoted and beloved sister was taken from us tragically on April 18, 2005, by a drunk driver. Dawn was born October 24, 1983 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a life long resident. She attended Palmer High School followed by Pikes Peak Community College. Dawn was a talented artist, photographer and writer. Her short life was always dedicated to helping others and making sure their lives were fulfilled. She had the biggest heart of anyone we ever knew. She loved her family and friends dearly, always putting them before herself.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Luanne Wiley; and brother, Scott Wiley of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by her grandfathers: Henry Coss of Lakeland, Florida and Lester Wiley of Colorado Springs; two uncles: Jim Coss and his wife, Paula of Superior, Wisconsin and Bob Coss and his wife, Rete of Florissant, Colorado; her aunt, Pat Coss of Ironwood, Michigan along with several cousins. Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Wiley and two grandmothers.
No words can express how much she was loved and will be missed.
