Born on March 14, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Ralph N. and Anna (Kromel) Thomas.
On July 13, 1948 in Southern California, she was united in marriage to Archie McPhaul They moved to California so Archie could pursue job opportunities. While living there, Nedra attended and graduated from nursing school and was employed as a nurse at the local hospital. Unfortunately, Archie passed away on September 6, 1966.
Nedra moved back to Kenosha shortly after Archie's death. She then worked as a nurse for Dr. Roman Bilak and dedicated her time to talking care of her mother.
She was a crossword puzzle solver and enjoyed watching Soap Operas.
She is survived by her sister, Iris Getschman; her two nieces, Paulette Getschman and Patty Eisold; and five nephews, Ralph, Gerald, William, Jack and Danny Thomas.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph H. Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 12:00 noon the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Private interment will be held in St. George Cemetery.
Visitation:
A visitation will be held on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home, 3720 39th Avenue.
