DAVENPORT - Services for Verla Farley, 86, of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Mrs. Farley

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today.

Mrs. Farley died Wednesday at her home.

She worked four years at Williams Junior High School, Davenport.

Verla Cherry married Charles Farley in 1926 in Davenport. He died in 1993.

She had volunteered at the Friendly House, Davenport, and enjoyed ceramics as a hobby.

Memorials may be made to Gen-esis Continuing Care.

Survivors include daughters, Mildred Taylor, LeClaire, Dorothy King, St. Charles, Mo., and Susan Hein, Davenport; sons, Charles Farley, Port Isabel, Texas, Ray-mond Farley, Buffalo, Fredrick Farley, Blue Grass, and Richard Farley, Grand Mound; 26 grand-children; and 57 great-grandchild-ren.

Mrs. Farley was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Atkinson, and sons, Jerry and Mark Farley.
