Mary DiMauro, 77, wife of Salvatore DiMauro, of Fowler Ave., Middletown, died Saturday, (March 27, 2004) at Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was born November 18, 1926, in Melilli, Sicily, daughter of the Late Giuseppe and Sebastiana (Passanisi) Zimmitti.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and the Sacred Heart Society. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Camps and Shapiro's Dept. Stores.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son and daughter and four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. from the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 U.S. Hwy. 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.
