Thomas John Rini, son of Joseph Rini (1911-1979) and Charlotte May Olsen (1910-1966) was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 18, 1946. In 1953 the family relocated to the San Fernando Valley where Tommy lived out the remainder of his short life. He lived in Granada Hills, Pacoima and Panorama City and attended McClay Jr High School. Because his mother was disabled with arthritis and unable to work Tommy dropped out of school and went to work at Fountains and Falls in Van Nuys, a manufacturer of landscape items, to help support the family. Tragically, he died on Dec 1, 1962 at the age of 16 when he was accidentally electrocuted while working with an electric saw at his place of employment.
