On Jan 28, 1930 she married Joseph Rini in Brooklyn. Joseph was the son of Vito Rini (1888-1973) and Frances Monteleone (1892-1966). Joseph and Charlotte had seven children, all born in Brooklyn; William Joseph (1933-1982), Joseph Lawrence (1935-2004), Frances Mary (1937-1939), Mary Charlotte Rini-Szabo (1940- ), Charlotte Osee Rini-Johnson, (1941- ), Thomas John (1946-1962) and Lawrence Frank (1950- ).
In 1953 the family moved to Granada Hills, Los Angeles County, CA. Charlotte lived the rest of her life in the north San Fernando Valley. She suffered from a crippling form of arthritis which eventually confined her to a wheel chair. Her life was hard, but she was always seen with a smile on her face. She was a loving and devoted mother. On Jan 16, 1966 she died in Valley hospital in Van Nuys at the age of fifty-six.
Charlotte is a descendant of prominent American families on her mother's side. Her 3rd great grandfather, Thomas Hale, was a veteran of the Revolutionary War.
