On the grounds of the Mother House (Maison-Mère du Bon Pasteur) there is a small chapel dedicated to the Immaculate Conception was built in 1835, thanks to the generosity of Madame d'Andigné. It houses the tomb of Saint Mary Euphrasia Pelletier. Four of the superiors general who succeeded her are also interred here: Sr. Marie-Pierre Coudenhove (1868-1892), Sr Marie-Marine Verger (1892-1905), Sr Marie-Domitille Larose (1905-1928) and Sr Marie- Ursula Jung (1940-1960). The mother-of-pearl way of the cross was offered at the house of Imola in Italy (near Bologna) in 1855 by Pope Pius IX, while he was bishop of the place.
A reliquary of Saint Marie-Euphrasie Pelletier are in a wax likeness (features and size are represented identically), and it carries the Blue coat and pompom characteristic of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd. Inside of this reliquary are part of her relics which many mistake as her resting place inside the main chapel and not the crypt chapel, her actual resting place.
