Mary Jo Markey, age 85, of Cumming passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 after a long decline in health. Mary Jo was born in Boone, Iowa as Mary Jo Bostwick. She was first married to Mr. Paul Thorngren, a reconnaissance pilot who was shot down and killed over Italy in WWII. After the war, she married Mr. Joe Markey and they moved to Georgia.
